Church of Christ Mission in India

   This mission was started by Bernel and Joan Getter in 1948. They have started schools for all ages of children, from nursery age through high school. A Bible college and junior college have been established and enrollment is now over 5,000.

   The center of their teachings is the Bible. They have a “vocational priesthood” whereby the students will graduate with knowledge of a particular trade. This will help them both become independent and to provide a service to the community.
